Peter has been in the investment industry since 1995. He began his career with Trimark Investments in Toronto and had the good fortune to move out west in December 1996 where he helped establish Trimark’s Calgary sales office. In 2001, Peter joined Harris Investment Management and was based out of Chicago, Illinois. In this role, he was responsible for institutional sales, covering plan sponsors and consultants throughout Canada. Peter moved back to Calgary at the end of 2002 and worked for BluMont Capital, Fidelity Investments and RBC Capital Markets prior to joining iA Clarington Investments in January 2009.

In his current role, Peter is responsible for leading a team of wholesalers covering Manitoba through to Vancouver Island, along with the Atlantic provinces.

Peter holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) designation and has completed the Partners, Directors and Officers and a host of other CSI courses, including most recently the updated KYP course, as well as the RIA’s Responsible Investing Fundamentals course.

Peter graduated from the University of Windsor in 1993 with an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree. He is married to Wendy, is a proud father of two rambunctious boys and can often be found skiing, hiking or biking with his family in the mountains and valleys throughout Western Canada. He is passionate about community involvement and volunteers for the Fernie Adaptive Snowsports program and is a member of the Regional District of East Kootenay Fire Service.
